The claims
Woolas has seemingly had every purchase he's ever made examined by the Daily Telegraph; among their (many) highlights are diapers, comics, women's clothing, red wine, tampons and hair dye.
The justification
"Receipts for food were not and are not required. However, as a matter of transparency I have always submitted receipts even when not required."
The response
Woolas has gone on the warpath, threatening legal action over the newspaper's "disgusting" allegations. He even described the expenses records as "stolen property."
