Lisa Perez Jackson serves as the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She leads EPA's efforts to protect human health and environment. With a staff of more 18,000 professionals working across the nation — EPA's goal is to protect air and water quality, reduce greenhouse gases, create a sustainable green economy and assist with response to environmental disasters. In addition to combating the overall core issues, Jackson has made it her priority to focus on vulnerable groups including children, the elderly and low-income communities particularly susceptible to environmental health threats.
