Updating Your Credit Card
If you have purchased a product or subscription on our site, you will have
a credit card on file in our Member Services area. Please be assured that
our transaction system is secure, and your
credit card information is accessible only to you. We encourage you to
keep your credit card billing information updated.
To check on or update your credit card information, simply go to the Member Services area
and follow the appropriate link for Card
Maintenance.
Pathfinder will ask you to sign on, if you have not signed on already, by
clicking Member Sign In. Then you will have to go through
our security check by answering the security
question you made up when you registered.
The name of each credit card you have entered into the system will be
listed at the bottom of the screen, with a link to edit the information
for that card. If you follow the Edit link, you will see a screen that
lets you rename the card, change the
expiration date or change the billing name and address for the card. If
you just need to edit your expiration date or other billing information for
the card to which your subscription is currently billed, you can use this
option. You will need to enter your password before you can update your card information, and then press the Continue button.
If the credit card you used for your subscription is no longer
valid, or you want to change the card to which a subscription is billed,
you will first need to add a new credit card to your account, which you
will use for your subscription. So instead of "editing" an existing credit
card, click Add a New Credit Card in order to add completely new credit card
information. Then you should return to Member Services and choose the
second option under Credit Cards in order to change the credit card used
for "Existing Subscriptions." For security, you will have to
answer your security question again. Then on the next page, you will see the
option to bill future payments to
either your old credit card or your new one. Select or add a new card and
then press the Continue button.
