Changing Your Security Question
For added security, Time Inc. New Media includes a "security check" with your free
registration, in order to verify your identity later on. These security
checks can also be called custom challenges or security questions. When
you register with Time Inc. New Media, we ask you to make up a
question -- such as "What Is My Mother's Maiden Name?" or "What Is the Name
of My Cat?" -- that
only you know the answer to. We also ask you to type in the answer to your
security question. Later on, when the
system wants to verify your identity, it prompts you with your question,
and you type in the answer.
You may have as many security questions as you like, and you can edit old
questions at any time. Simply go to the Member Services area
and follow the appropriate link to edit your Account Security.
In order to edit your security questions or add new ones, you will first
need to answer your original question.
For additional help, or if you have forgotten the answer to your question,
you may send an e-mail message to Customer service at our Help Form. Please include your member
name and any variations of your e-mail address so that we can find you in
the system.
