In 1997, Silvia Venturini Fendi was proposed with the task of creating a practical bag for women, and instead, she created the Fendi Baguette. In honor of the bag's 15th anniversary, the brand has teamed up with Rizzoli to create a tome of all things Baguette, portraying over 250 life-size bags. Fendi often creates the most outlandish Baguettes, and even has invited an artist to dangle plastic dolls from their iconic handbag shape. However, this Baguette from 2011 is perfectly ladylike, and we welcome its elegant beading as a nice change of pace.
