About 20 years after two counselors are murdered at Camp Crystal Lake in the 1980 movie Friday the 13th, someone has the bright idea of reopening the camp for a new generation of campers. Like any place cursed or stalked by a killer, more people die but not before the counselors engage in bunk-bed sex and strip monopoly. It seems they have not learned from the previous murder victims, who were killed because they were too busy having sex while a young Jason Voorhees drowned in the lake. It won't be until years later that the popular Scream franchise reveals the rules of staying alive in a horror movie. So the counselors at Camp Crystal Lake don't have the knowledge about rule No. 1: "You can never have sex. Sex equals death."
