In February 2010, Beck was arguably at the height of his popularity. So when he delivered the keynote address to the Conservative Political Action Committee, he was a virtual political rock star. In his speech, Beck summoned the spirit of Ronald Reagan, maligned Woodrow Wilson and inspired a host of conservatives via a chalkboard (which received its own round of applause when it was unveiled). For Beck as serious political player, his rousing (and, of course, emotional) speech was one of his finer moments.
