Introduced in 1963, Kenner Inc.'s Easy-Bake Oven was the chemistry set of simple confection. In a miniature oven, children followed simple recipes to bake cookies, brownies and cakes over the heat of a lightbulb, often yielding soupy results. Since its release, more than 23 million Easy-Bake Ovens have been sold, and more than 140 treats have been (at least somewhat) baked.
