Still shy of his 20th birthday, Colton Harris-Moore has prided himself on preparing for takeoff. The wily teenager has been charged with stealing planes (which he taught himself to fly), cars and even a boat while leading authorities on an international cat-and-mouse game. He gained the nickname the Barefoot Bandit and a big following on the Internet after allegedly committing some crimes sans shoes or socks. On the run since escaping a halfway house in Washington State in 2008, Harris-Moore lost his fugitive status when he was apprehended in July in the Bahamas. He pleaded not guilty on Nov. 19 and is reportedly considering a plea deal that would use movie- or book-deal profits to compensate the people he stole from.
