Twitter may be an effective platform to quickly broadcast news, but that certainly doesn't mean said news is reliable. Bill Cosby learned this the hard way when the phrase Bill Cosby died topped the site's Trending Topics list in August. The 73-year-old appeared on Larry King Live to prove that yes, he was alive and kicking, and tweeted similar sentiments. While it's a positive sign for a man of Cosby's age and stature to be active on Twitter, it's disturbing that he has to keep tweeting in order to prove he isn't dead.
