Last weekend saw the 2010 European Rubik's Cube Championship, but none of the competitors could match Erik Akkersdijk. According to the World Cube Association, the Dutchman has the fastest official time ever recorded on a 3-by-3-by-3 cube: 7.08 sec., set at the 2008 Czech Open.
