The beautiful and adventurous Etta Place was the love of legendary outlaw duo Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, beginning with the latter before becoming the former's mistress. In the fictionalized movie version of their tale, a bike ride with Cassidy set to the movie's iconic track "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" cements Etta as the object of both men's desire. While the film is only loosely based on the real-life Etta, she was still considered one of the wildest women of a very Wild West.
