Some things you just can't take with you. Though he died in 1995, Jerry Garcia, lead singer of the Grateful Dead, left plenty of worldly items behind including his toilet. But waste not, want not: in 2005, Henry Koltys, who had bought Garcia's house two years after the singer's death, decided to auction off some of Garcia's household items, including a dishwasher and three toilets one of which was the salmon-colored potty that once stood in the singer's master bathroom. Koltys had all the items appraised and auctioned them to raise money for his charitable foundation. GoldenPalace.com bought the commode for $2,550, only to see it stolen from Koltys' home before it could be delivered.
