Glenn Close knows how to play tough: scary tough (Fatal Attraction), theatrically tough (101 Dalmatians), stoically tough (The Shield). She'll need to draw on each of those types of toughness, and maybe a few others, starring in this drama as a ruthless trial lawyer — and boss from hell — who litigates suits against big corporations. (Ted Danson appears as a CEO in an Enron-type scandal.) There are a lot of lawyer shows on TV, but this being FX, expect more moral shades of gray, and more blue language.
