Spoon delivered the best song of the summer of '05, I Summon You, a track so deceptively good that, well, no one really bought it. That's been the plague for this unfussy Austin group — great reviews, chilly sales. There's probably not a commercial miracle in their future, but there are plenty of strong, groovy songs on this record that puts the roll back in rock; the rare guitar album you can dance to without hesitation.
