Singing over a weirdly bouncy arrangement, Jason gets a C for vocals—he's not bad, just forgettable—but a good A- for charm, disarmingly admitting in the intro that he didn't know "ma belle" was French. There's no real longing in his performance, though. Good enough to keep him around, I think, but he seems to be forgetting that he's singing a love song.
