What would be your signature issue as First
Lady/Man?
I look forward to the opportunity of continuing
the work my husband and I have dedicated our lives to, but I think it is
premature and presumptuous to talk about that at this point.
Who is your First Lady role model?
Jacqueline Kennedy for her
restoration of the White House furnishings and Lady Bird Johnson for her
beautification programs.
What don't we know about your spouse? He's the 'patron' of lost causes — such as hostage rescues — that no one else will take on. He loves baseball, riding, hunting, country music and The Eagles.
What do you like most about the campaign trail?
Going to different
parts of the country I wouldn't otherwise see and catching up with
friends I haven't seen in a long time.
What do you like least?
Schlepping through airports to catch a flight
connection.
Would you expect to have a say in the President's policies?
No. I have
trouble keeping track of my own agenda and schedule.
What's the one TV show you and your spouse try not to miss?
Bill is
never home long enough to watch a particular show other than to catch a
baseball game. I, on the other hand, have seen each episode of Law &
Order at least 3 times.
What's the one campaign food that you could go your whole life never
eating again?
Wilted salad and stale bread — that's all that is left by
the time I get to eat!
