Five Fantastic Jersey Shore Beach Towns
Andy Mills / Star Ledger / Corbis
Point Pleasant Beach
Visitors head to the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk to play skee ball at the
arcades, ride bumper cars and ferris wheels and eat the local saltwater taffy. Stake out your place in the sand early at Jenkinson's, as this
beach tends to get crowded with families and day-trippers. The town offers
outdoor showers and a few changing rooms and allows food and drink.
