For the first ever World Cup to be held in Eastern Europe, Russia is planning to roll out a wave of new stadiums, from its exclave in Kaliningrad — tucked between Poland and Lithuania — to the Caucasus, in places like Krasnodar and Sochi, site of the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics.
