A pair of hardy joggers pass the Eiffel Tower during a heavy snowfall in Paris. Jogging was easier than flying as the French capital's two largest airports were ordered to reduce their flights by 30%. Aviation spokesman Eric Heraud said it was due to problems stemming from the slowdowns at other European airports. It was all too much for one stranded Irish citizen, who managed to complain directly to the French transport minister about the situation. "We've been here since Saturday at 6 a.m. and our flight keeps saying on time, on time, on time," Donna Gordon explained, describing the wait at Charles de Gaulle. "I'm standing in the same clothes I've been wearing for three days."
