Snow Disrupts European Travel

Train-ing Day
A train from the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway passes through snow covered fields at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, north of London. While this kind of train was able to make tracks, Eurostar said passengers should postpone or cancel their trips to Belgium and France if possible. But people at St Pancras station queued for five hours for services to the continent, and the station was so busy that many had to wait outside, lined up around the terminal building.
