"At first I was told that I was just depressed, I was anxious," Moss says. "I was checking the doors and locks to see if it was safe. I was checking constantly, and they said, 'Oh, you are suffering from OCD, obsessive-compulsive disorder,' [but] I was having night terrors and night sweats, you know. I was just constantly looking over my shoulder. I said, 'There's something else wrong with me other than just being depressed. That doesn't sound right.' And finally the VA told me that I was suffering from PTSD posttraumatic stress disorder."
