Sofas and Table, Z-scape Series, 2000
Hadid has also designed undulating sofas, tables and chairs. Her Z-scape series is inspired by moving landscape formations like glaciers and eroded hillsides. The white and blue sofas, called Glacier and Moraine, are upholstered foam. The white table, part of a pair called Stalactite and Stalagmite, is carved wood.
