The Meaning of Life
The year 1983 saw the release of the last major Python group project, Monty Python's the Meaning of Life. Quarreling among the troupe members had long been a problem, and after they finished Meaning, all went on to develop successful careers as solo performers, directors and writers. The 1989 death of Graham Chapman from throat cancer ended most talk about reunions; since that time, the five surviving original members have only sporadically worked together.
