Experts believe that many of the treasures would have been battlefield trophies. The vast collection is currently being kept in secure storage at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, but a selection of the items is on display at the museum from Friday, Sept. 25, until Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.
