Wollman Memorial Skating Rink, covered by ice for much of the year, has been the location of numerous theatrical performances during the summer months. In July 1961, above, the rink hosted the opening night of the Shakespeare festival. This summer, the park's Delacorte Theater played host to a monthlong run of Twelfth Night starring Anne Hathaway.
