A truck brings water to some displaced people in Sudan's Gereida camp in 2006. The following year, many parts of Sudan were devastated by flooding, prompting an immediate humanitarian response by the United Nations. President Barack Obama has since appointed Scott Gration as his Sudanese envoy.
