Inauguration Weekend
U2 was one of many acts invited to Washington to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Of their presence on that historic weekend, Bono said to NBC's Brian Williams, "To just be asked (here) is such a thrill. It's a big deal for America. (Our) being here internationalizes it for some, I hope. Because you own the country, but you don't own the idea."
