Bassist Clayton performs during the techno-oriented 1997 PopMart arena tour in support of the album, Pop. Staging for the tour included the world's largest video screen, a 35-foot mirror ball lemon and a 12-foot wide stuffed olive. About the presentation, Bono noted that the group was trying to "have some fun with our bigness. You know, we can't be hung for that. Because humor is the evidence of freedom, isn't it?"
