Although retired as Archbishop, Tutu was given the title of emeritus Archbishop of Cape Town and since then he has been an active speaker in achieving freedom, human rights, and democracy. In 2008, he spoke with the Dalai Lama to teach children in Seattle, Washington about compassion and spiritual connection.
