If you're not going to get a dragon or Buddha tattoo at Ricky and Pinky's Parlor, then your next best bet is to pay a visit to G.O.D. (the initials are a homonym of the Cantonese phrase "to live better"). The brand's three locations in Causeway Bay, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui sell everything from chopsticks to slippers to stationery, all of it incorporating 20th-century Hong Kong imagery. Pictures of tenement buildings, Cantonese movie stars, newspaper advertisements, imaginary logos and the like are applied to bags, T-shirts and notebook covers. You might not catch all the references, but the products look good regardless.
