Moldings
At the Center for the Intrepid, nothing is outsourced. The center has a full prosthetics lab where wounded warriors are fitted for prosthetic arms and legs and IDEO devices. All prosthetics — from the simplest rods to the most complex robotic arms and hands — are made at the center. Here, a collection of moldings will be used to make prosthetic legs and IDEO devices for wounded warriors who are undergoing rehabilitation after being severely wounded in combat.
