The grand opening of the Warner Brothers Western Theater, located between Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue, took place on Oct. 7, 1931. It's now known as the Wiltern. It was used as the primary location for the 1983 film Get Crazy, directed by Allan Arkush and starring Malcolm McDowell, Allen Garfield, Daniel Stern, Gail Edwards and Ed Begley Jr.
