Cancer Survivors' Inspirational Stories

prostate

Pete Collins, 50
Type of Cancer: Prostate
Diagnosed: February 2007
"I have no idea what my future holds. I could live another 5 years or less. I could live 20 years or more. I might completely rid myself of the cancer. I have chosen to attack cancer as hard as it has attacked me. And hopefully, even harder than it attacked me. In many respects, the cancer has been a blessing. It has completely changed the way I look at many situations and made it very easy to figure out quickly what is important and what isn't. I make it a point every day to live and not to just exist. I make it a point to reach out to people and try to bring joy to their lives."
