Sigh of Relief
A Russian Navy officer smiled as Lt. Milashevsky, center, and his crew of the Russian mini-submarine AS-28 "Priz" safely docked on dry land, Sunday. The seven aboard, trapped for three days on the ocean floor off Russia's Pacific coast, were rescued after a British undersea robot cut the entangled vessel free from a discarded fishing net. International aid came quickly after Russia's prompt call for help, avoiding the dismal fate of the submarine Kursk, in which all 118 crew members perished in August of 2000.
