Anurag Kashyap, 13, of Poway, California, celebrates after winning the 78th Annual National Spelling Bee in Washington. Kashyap clinched victory by correctly spelling appoggiatura, a musical term for an embellishing note that precedes an essential melodic note. Kashyap, who beat 273 other finalists, said he felt "sheer happiness."
