Marie Janson Spaak, 86, Belgium's first female member of Parliament (elected in 1921, retired in 1958), vivacious focal point of the country's most illustrious political family, which included her father, Liberal Party Leader Paul Janson; her brother, onetime Prime Minister Paul-Emile Janson; her son, NATO Secretary-General Paul-Henri Spaak, also a former Prime Minister, who once addressed the Belgian Senate as "Mother, Ladies and Gentlemen"; in Brussels.
