National Defense, which includes the war in Viet Nam, is costing the U.S. about $75 billion a year—of which $39 billion goes directly to the U.S. corporations and institutions that are the Government's prime suppliers. As of last week, a Senate subcommittee was holding hearings in an attempt to find out whether there is any profiteering.
