Morgan partner. Mr. Morrow is also an old friend (Amherst classmate) of
Calvin Coolidge—was, perhaps, Mr. Coolidge's best friend among the
great, before he became President. But, so far, Mr. Morrow has had no
overt connection with the Administration, except to tackle the
thankless thorny job of aviation investigation. And his influence
upon Mr. Coolidge's appointments has been conspicuously
negligible—much too negligible in many people's opinion.
