Self-Starter

Recipe:
Build in mixing glass
.5 oz apricot liqueur
1 oz cocci americano
1.5 oz Plymouth gin
Add ice and stir. Strain into an absinthe-rinsed chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

Adapted from another Harry Craddock recipe, the Self-Starter is wickedly tasty — as Raines Law Room head bartender Meaghan puts it, "it's a gin and tonic drinker's martini," dry, zesty and potent. We had a hard time getting past the absinthe rinse.
