Harold Hamm

After a humble start on a poor family farm in Oklahoma and a job pumping gas in Enid, Harold Hamm launched a wildcatting oil company and built it into the billion-dollar Continental Resources. Through the use of hydraulic fracturing and other new technologies, Hamm, 66, has created hundreds of jobs and homegrown energy and given back, supporting education and diabetes research.
