Daryl Hannah talks the talk of a fervent environmentalist, but she has also been practicing what she preaches for years. The popular '80s actress lives in a solar-powered home, drives a biodiesel car, maintains a vegan diet and produces a video blog, called DHLoveLife, that features practical sustainability tips. Hannah's commitment runs deep, as she has been arrested several times for her activism. In 2006, Hannah tried to stop a farm demolition by literally chaining herself to a tree and three years later she was cuffed for protesting mountaintop mining in West Virginia. Her most recent run-in with the law was in August 2011 when Hannah was arrested after participating in a sit-in outside the White House against the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline.
