It was a long journey, but Russian billionaire Milner has definitely arrived in Silicon Valley. Trained as a theoretical physicist, Milner received an M.B.A. from Wharton and worked at the World Bank before becoming one of the most successful Internet entrepreneurs in Russia. Starting in 2009, Milner's investment firm Digital Sky Technologies began buying large stakes in Facebook, Zynga, Groupon, Twitter and Spotify.
