Manning is a hero to little brothers everywhere: with a win over the New England Patriots in February giving him his second Super Bowl ring, the New York Giants quarterback has escaped the shadow of big brother Peyton forever. Even without the Super Bowl, the unflappable Manning brother turned in an MVP-caliber season with the Giants, as he improved his accuracy and (still quiet) leadership. Before 2011, Manning told an interviewer that he was indeed one of the NFL's elite quarterbacks. Cynical New Yorkers scoffed. Now they celebrate.
