The likely Republican presidential nominee hasn't yet shaken conservative suspicions of his ideology or coaxed his foes into quitting the race. But with a steady, well-funded campaign that has focused on his business credentials, Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, has rolled to a sizable delegate lead in the race to Tampa. It's taken longer than he expected, but despite the vicissitudes of the GOP race, it looks like President Obama will face the challenger he expected all along.
