Two of America's biggest passions are the NFL and silly sitcoms. So this Super Bowl ad, featuring commercial sitcom characters showing their love for the NFL, is a sure crowd pleaser. We see Marcia Brady getting nailed in the nose by a football she's wearing a San Diego Chargers shirt the Fonz in his Green Bay Packers gear, crowing, "It's a beautiful day for anything and everything," in that Fonz way of his, and Jerry Seinfeld wearing a New York Giants shirt, greeting nemesis/neighbor Newman, in a Dallas Cowboy hat, at the door. "Hello, Newman," Jerry sneers. Even Alf is sporting a Carolina Panthers shirt. Clips from dramas like The Sopranos Tony and Co. in Jets paraphernalia and The Dukes of Hazzard see the Atlanta Falcons flag on the General Lee? also make it in. Throughout, viewers hear the theme from Dallas, site of the 2011 Super Bowl. Call it a beautiful play.
