Known for his boundary-pushing standup comeday, Tracy Morgan took it one step too far during a June 3 performance at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, where he told the crowd he'd "pull out a knife and stab" his son if he were gay. The 30 Rock star's homophobic remark drew criticism from both the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the Human Rights Campaign, as well as from celebrities such as Tina Fey, Wanda Sykes and Chris Rock, and Morgan quickly released a statement apologizing for the joke. Almost three weeks later, Morgan again apologized during a meeting with GLAAD, saying, "I didn't mean it ... from the bottom of my heart, I apologize to everybody."
