He who brought sexy back also brought style back with his William Rast clothing line. The multitalented Justin Timberlake launched the collection in 2006 with his childhood best friend, Trace Ayala. Showing a line of classic American denim, the Memphis boys tapped into an era long gone their respect evidenced even greater by the name William Rast, an amalgam of the name of both dudes' grandfathers. Though the high-end line shows at New York Fashion Week, Timberlake garnered populist credentials when he designed a diffusion collection of the label for Target in 2010. Tacking on designer to his ever lengthening list of credentials (he's also a singer, actor, comedian and restaurateur, to name a few), JT pulls fashion inspiration from some well-dressed gentlemen of generations past: Frank Sinatra and Elvis, with pieces that are classic yet fashion-forward. His clothes may draw from his Southern upbringing but are fortunately a far cry from the tacky '90s garb he sported on The Mickey Mouse Club.
