The Ninth Amendment and Your Unwritten Rights

When James Madison penned the Bill of Rights, some worried that by writing some things down, it meant other rights were not secured. The ninth amendment attempted to correct that.

Amendment IX
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
