Peter Griffin, Family Guy

Peter Griffin may be an obvious rip-off of Homer Simpson — who isn't exactly in the running for Father of the Year either — but he extends the bad-dad character well beyond the archetype. The fat, beer-guzzling, selfish and moronic man of the house has managed to insult every religion, race and nationality at some point. But the biggest strike against him is in how he treats his daughter Meg. He constantly hurls insults at the already unpopular and insecure high schooler, once telling his wife, "We agreed that if we could save two [children], we'd leave Meg."
